RANGE TOP FIRE!

As the intensity of the fire builds, temperature sensors integrated into the system will signal the control system to take action.  At approximately 160 deg F, the fan will be automatically turned on its HIGH setting, dissipating heat and reducing exposure to surrounding cabinetry.  As the temperature rises to 190 Deg F, an audible alarm sounds, a trouble alarm is transmitted, and the stove energy is disconnected by either a gas valve or electric shunt trip device.

AUTO-EXTINGUISH

When one of the 3 Fusible Links melts from the heat (links are set to melt at 212 deg F), the extinguishing agent is sprayed over the surface of the stove, blanketing the fire, while cooling the surfaces and causing saponification of the oil if present. The internal buzzer continues to sound and the external alarm system is triggered. All Denlar systems are mechanically fail safe and require no electricity to suppress a fire.

UNPARALLELED SAFETY

Should the system discharge, cleanup is quick and simple as only a small amount of suppressant is actually used and may be done with soap and water.  Once discharged, the range may not be operated until the hood is serviced and reset.  Our service network of fire equipment specialists will assist you with recharging the system and getting the range back in operation.
